Our programs help Maryland homeowners, renters, and property owners improve the safety, comfort, and energy efficiency of their homes. 

 

Eligible households may qualify for grants or low-interest loans to make critical repairs, energy upgrades, and accessibility improvements.

Net Zero energy homes

Net Zero homes are energy efficient homes that produce as much or more energy than they will use. Since 2020, DHCD provided $945,000 to Housing Initiative Partnership, Inc. to create six Net Zero homes in Fairmount Heights.
