The Maryland Homelessness and Workforce Systems Symposium, which will take place on April 27, 2023 at the Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel in Towson, Maryland, will be action-oriented, with a focus on bringing together stakeholders from the workforce development world and the homeless service provider system to facilitate information sharing, foster new relationships, and build capacity to support jobseekers experiencing housing instability in your local communities.
Over 150 attendees representing organizations from the homeless services system, the workforce system, social services, and higher education will be in attendance. Every region of the state will be represented. Attendees will engage with several elected and appointed leaders in state government and experts from national organizations.
The symposium ends with an opportunity for regional strategic planning so that organizations from the same counties are able to connect and bring back learnings to take action in their own local communities.
