OSB has published Maryland’s Digital Equity and BEAD Plan for public comment. Please visit the State Plans page to review and submit your comments to DHCD!
The Office of Statewide Broadband’s mission is to ensure that every Marylander has access to broadband services, regardless of their ZIP code. To help accomplish this goal, the state will partner with the private sector and local jurisdictions to reduce, and eventually eliminate, the number of communities and residents being underserved by the current internet infrastructure.
Complete the surveys below to help Maryland's work toward achieving statewide universal access to high-speed broadband with federal funding through the Broadband, Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) and Digital Equity Planning programs.
Residents can test the speed of their internet connection on computers, tablets and smartphones or report an address that does not have service.
